Great to hear from you. In the meantime is found this article about the house and will drive over there and see if I can find it.

The house was in an area called Harmon Park. Given his political leanings I suspect he was one of the people who bought homes from Urban Estates in the later 1940s, where 11 custom built homes we built by Jules Korchien, architect and Richard Snibbe, designer. One of the residents described it as "a community of ten families of artists, commercial artists and architects seeking a progressive and creative environment within a suburban lifestyle."
The architect was accused of being a Communist. “Jules Korchien, who was employed in the Soviet Union as a consulting architect, while his wife worked on the editorial staff of the Moscow Daily News," Congressional Record, March 21, 1941.
I also found this 1952 article about Keller running for the NY State Senate. The article says he ran for Croton's Village Board so I'll check our files to see what we have.
We would love to see any material you have about the house and the family's time in Croton.
Marc

I checked the local paper and found the attached political ad from 1952, when Charles ran for the U.S. Senate and also a 1949 article about the Urban Estates development, which says in part:
