Techniques for the Overhead Projector

• Face your audience.
• Don't block the beam or their view.
• Keep spare bulbs on hand.
• Minimize keystoning.
• Write on the foils to emphasize your points.
• Use colors.
• Use washable pens.
• Don't wiggle the foils.
• Turn off the projector when there's no foil.
• Turn it on (or off) to signal a change of activity (the room lights can be used this way, too.)
