Pat writes on 10/1/2014: O'Grady was an old guy famed for a number of things including as a cocksman and drinking. Huntington Lake is near Yosemite (altitude 7000 ft). It is a reservoir now depleted with the ongoing drought. The stumps in the photo were trees cut 100 yrs ago. It's still a great destination and we even got some snow flurries during our visit. The funeral boat was homage to ancient Celtic traditions (well, Scandinavian anyway) and you can see it burning. It was a toy boat. O'Grady let us know he approved by parting the clouds and then snowing on us. Little dedications and off-color stories not appropriate for polite company were on the boat and off to him.
